The brainchild of architect Mike Reynolds, these earthships were born from the oil crisis of the 1970s. Completely self-sustaining and built with repurposed materials like tires and bottles, Reynolds’ designs aim to introduce a more eco-friendly and affordable shelter for people across the globe.
