We’ve all heard the story by now and while we don’t know all the details, one thing is abundantly clear. Christy Mack, a beautiful and vivacious young woman, was forced to endure a tragic physical attack that left her horribly injured. The assailant, who was recently captured, was her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend, an MMA fighter whose name we won’t mention because he’s not significant enough. Not only was Christy forced to endure physical pain but she had to listen to some of the most insensitive comments as people from around the world chastised her and somehow blamed the beating she received on her profession. Those who made such comments should be ashamed of themselves. Besides Christy being a lovely and kind young woman her profession is irrelevant. No woman on the face of the Earth deserves to go through such animalistic physical brutality. Driven by the abhorrent comments, fellow pornstar Kendall Karson decided to step up to the plate and do something to help Christy. She set up a fundraiser on www.giveforward.com to help Christy offset the massive medical bills she likely incurred during her stay in the hospital. It was no surprise that Ms. Karson was the one to step up to the plate as she is widely regarded for her classy and caring ways. Thanks to Kendall, Christy now has close to 0,000 to help her through what is sure to be a long recovery. Mens Mag Daily was able to sit down the lovely and kind Kendall Karson to discuss her career, her personal issues with domestic violence, and the Christy Mack situation.

Mens Mag Daily: Okay Kendall, give us some background information. How long have you been in the adult industry?
Kendall Karson: I have been in the adult industry for three years.
Mens Mag Daily: What are your impressions so far, are you loving it?
Kendall Karson: I mean, yeah, it’s given me incredible life experiences that I only could have dreamed of.
Mens Mag Daily: Let me ask you this, you’re very attractive, you’re tall, why didn’t you pursue a career in mainstream modeling and acting?
Kendall Karson: I used to actually do mainstream modeling and I was in a two year relationship with someone where I was lucky to get sex from once a month and it would last five minutes. I tried bringing girls and toys into the relationship and he wasn’t having any of it. I met him doing runway and once I got into my first magazine he was extraordinarily jealous and insecure so he made me quit modeling altogether. We’ve been broken up for nine months now. I went to L.A. to try to get back into modeling and when I was there I was contacted by somebody who wanted me to a do a girl/girl stills only shoot and I had never done full nudity before so I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. There was somebody who was interested in casting me in a movie. I had watched porn like five times before I got into the industry. I called up a high fashion photographer friend of mine in New York to see what he thought because I was unsure. He told me I had everything I needed to be successful and he had seen girls do really well with it. He told me to try one scene and if I didn’t like it then just don’t do it again. I view it as a way to do everything I want sexually in a safe environment. I also looked at it as a way to build a career for myself.
Mens Mag Daily: Back to the boyfriend, why didn’t he have sex with you? Was he gay?
Kendall Karson: No, he’s actually a fan of mine now which is funny. He went to my parents who are Baptist Missionaries and he showed them my very first scene. They didn’t take it very well and they didn’t speak to me for four months. We’ve reconciled since then and our relationship is stronger than ever. We talk on the phone and I visit a few times a year.
Mens Mag Daily: So you didn’t have a lot of experience with this type of stuff?
Kendall Karson: No, not at all, I had a lot of firsts on camera. It’s definitely opened up my sexuality and given me a lot of confidence. It’s empowered me and allowed me to become the strong and independent woman I am now.
Mens Mag Daily: Do you have a new boyfriend now?
Kendall Karson: I plead the fifth. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: You’re very popular, what is it that your fans love about you so much?
Kendall Karson: I think what differentiated me from the other girls is my work ethic. I came from corporate America and I’m always really on top of everything. I try to be classy at all times and maintain a high level of professionalism. I’ve always had a young look and I’m sweet and bubbly so they don’t expect me to be dirty on camera. I’ve also been so open and I really take pride in how much I interact with my fans. I know they appreciate what I do and that I interact with them. I’ve been able to build such a strong fan base because I’m not a diva. I wouldn’t be here without them and their support.
Mens Mag Daily: Would you ever date a fan?
Kendall Karson: Never say never, you never know what to expect in life.
Mens Mag Daily: Let’s talk about the Christy situation, are you guys friends?
Kendall Karson: Christy and I are co-workers. We’ve met on a few occasions and she’s always been very nice to me in our interactions. I’ve always had a lot of respect for her and her work ethic and what she’s been able to accomplish in her career. I’ve always had a lot of respect for her.
Mens Mag Daily: What’s your account of what happened to her?
Kendall Karson: Unfortunately, I can’t speak to that. What I can say is the reason why I got so involved is because I saw these people attacking her as if it was her fault that she had gone through this experience. I was disgusted. I made a public statement on my Twitter account saying that nobody will know the full account of what happened except the people who were there. People shouldn’t make assumptions or try to justify violence towards any woman. What she does for a living doesn’t make her who she is. I’ve had domestic violence issues in the past and when she posted the pictures I was horrified and I wanted to find a way to help her but there was nothing in place, I was shocked. I decided to start the www.giveforward.com donations for her. I set the goal for ten thousand dollars. I had no idea in my wildest dreams that it would take off like it did. I just wanted to help her. People who aren’t in the industry tear us down every single day so we shouldn’t do it to each other. We have to support each other. I wanted her to be able to focus on her recovery and not on the medical bills. We broke the ten thousand dollar mark in the first eight hours. I raised the goal to $100,000 and within 24 hours we had $28,000. Within 48 hours we had $50,000. As of a couple of minutes ago we have over $73,000.
Mens Mag Daily: I feel horrible for Christy but I do slightly blame her for one thing and I’m sure a few people won’t like this but I blame her for dating that guy. I don’t blame anything else on her at all. The violence she experienced was abhorrent. I’m not even going to say his name because what he calls himself is ridiculous but he’s an animal. I had no idea who he was before this so I searched him on YouTube and I saw him speaking and if I had to guess his IQ is probably about 50. What is a smart girl like Christy doing with a douchebag like that?
Kendall Karson: I’ve been in an abusive and manipulative relationship and I know people want to point the finger. First of all, a lot of times we don’t have any control over who we fall in love with. When you’re with someone who is so manipulative they really like to play with your feelings so until you’ve walked a mile in her shoes you’ll never really understand it. It’s hard to get away from somebody who’s that manipulative and abusive. As dangerous as he is, I can understand why she wouldn’t leave.
Mens Mag Daily: I know and I agree with you. It’s just that you have this stunningly gorgeous woman because Christy is breathtaking and can have any man she wants and she’s with that asshole. It’s not that I’m judging. It’s just hard to wrap my mind around it.
Kendall Karson: She’s absolutely gorgeous. Something else to consider is that being in the entertainment industry you have a spotlight on you. I mean we’re naked, vulnerable, having sex, and bearing our souls. We have a lot of opponents, millions of people tearing us apart every day. They’re picking apart every little flaw and that can cause some insecurity in us. This industry tends to chew you up and spit you out or give you a thick skin. But just imagine what it’s like being under a microscope. She’s just like any other girl.
Mens Mag Daily: They caught him now, which is good.
Kendall Karson: Yes, it’s amazing.
Mens Mag Daily: Okay, so tell me more about the fundraiser.
Kendall Karson: Brazzers donated $10,000 alone. I know Kink donated at least $1000. Wicked donated $1500, I believe. Amateur Allure donated $1000. There were a lot of players involved. I reached out to Dave Navarro whose mother was actually murdered due to domestic violence. He’s a friend of mine and he’s been helping me get the word out. This is the only fundraiser that is endorsed by the family and will be endorsed by the family. There are fraudulent fundraisers out there so everybody should watch out for those and not donate to them at all. A lot of people have also been asking about whether or not she has health insurance and I don’t know if she does but people don’t realize pornstars are independent contractors so a lot of them don’t have medical insurance. Also, insurance wouldn’t cover all of the bills. She has a long and expensive recovery ahead of her. She has to take time off from work and I would imagine she would want to go through some therapy as well. The money is only managed by Christy, it goes straight to her. There are also a couple of places where people can go for help if they’re experiencing domestic violence. There’s the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. There’s also www.thehotline.org. I’d also like to thank the people who have donated and just acknowledge the outpour of positive words she’s been receiving.
