A Cadillac has always been one of the greatest status symbols of some of the baddest dudes to ever walk the planet and the range of those guys is diverse from Elvis to Snoop, Wall Street brokers to gangsters. The Caddy has been a powerhouse for over a hundred years and has managed beautifully to change with the times without losing its core cool, what it’s meant to be, a slick automobile for the man who demands the best. Some of the hottest models include the Eldorado and the Deville. Not many cars have had had the staying power of the Cadillac and it’s no wonder given that beyond its stylish design, Cadillacs are known for being built like tanks (Ironically they actually did make tanks for the Army in the Korean and Vietnam wars. It was called the M41 Walker Bulldog), good old American craftsmanship. The legend continues to this day with Cadillac’s CTS-V coupe. This beauty is most definitely a beast boasting a 556 horsepower Eaton-supercharged V8 engine with 551 lb.-ft. of torque. The CTS goes from 0-60 in 4.0 seconds and the supercharger incorporates a twin 4-lobe rotor design that enhances quietness and optimizes performance. According to the Cadillac website, “The V-Series chassis was developed and tested at the Nürburgring—one of the world’s most demanding tracks—and features Magnetic Ride Control, a groundbreaking technology that reads the road up to 1,000 times per second, maintaining chassis poise without sacrificing a comfortable ride.” This car is such a monster that everything from the seats to the spoiler serves a function so when you hit a ridiculous speed you’re still sitting pretty in that luxurious way that only a Cadillac can provide. It also comes with Brembo brakes, which are found on many race cars just in case. The inside of the CTS-V is as stunning, if not more, than the sleek, stylish, and aerodynamic exterior. Other standouts on this car are the huge navigation screen which slides up from inside the dashboard, which also serves as a rearview camera and the 10 speaker Bose surround sound system. The grille which you can get in black for a few extra bucks makes the car look even meaner and would look sick with the optional 19 inch black rims. With a price tag of ,000 or more this Cadillac is definitely pricey but given the performance and design it’s very difficult to say it’s not worth it. If you have the stacks and you’re in the market for a truly sick vehicle I’d drop it on the CTS-V, this thing is flawless inside, outside, and under the hood.
