China’s finally getting their insane lane-straddling bus on the road. The elevated alternative spans 72-feet long and 25-feet wide and rides above the street, allowing cars to pass underneath to help reduce traffic. Although it was limited to a 300 meter track, the bus took its first test run in Qinhuangdao on Tuesday, making it one step closer to picking up passengers in cities around the globe.
