Kayla-Lane Danger deserves a lot of credit. Not only does she not shoot hardcore, she only shoots with girls and she’s managed to thrive in the adult industry for over 10 years. Many girls who do any and every thing are lucky if they make it past ten scenes. This New York bred hottie does have a certain sensibility and business acumen about her which lends to the idea that she’s just smart. Lord knows she’s hot enough. Her slender, gorgeous body, smoky eyes, and perfect complexion make her a stunner, there’s no doubt about that. She kills it on the internet and even owns and operated a few of her own sites, www.mydollparts.com being her pride and joy. Mens Mag Daily caught up with the sexy brunette to discuss being a tattooed performer, her longevity, and what type of men she’s attracted to.
Mens Mag Daily: Okay, so before you got into the adult industry, you were a go-go dancer, is that right?
Kayla-Jane Danger: I was a lot of things actually but yeah I was a go-go dancer. I would dance at New York City nightclubs and wore costumes or little lingerie and just dance my ass off.
Mens Mag Daily: Oh, so you’re from New York?
Kayla-Jane Danger: Yeah, born and raised. I lived in Queens, Westchester, and then I went to college in Manhattan.
Mens Mag Daily: How did you find your way into the adult industry?
Kayla-Jane Danger: That was definitely thanks to dancing. I met a lot of different people and everybody kept telling me I had to meet this chick Joanna and that turned out to be Joanna Angel from www.BurningAngel.com. I fell in love with her as a person and I thought it would be awesome to get naked for her. I started shooting for them in New York in 2004. She’s the reason why I get naked on the internet.
Mens Mag Daily: Were you tatted up back then like you are now?
Kayla-Jane Danger: I did have tattoos though not as many as I have now. When I first shot for www.BurningAngel.com my hair was up to my shoulders because I had just cut a lot of it off for Locks of Love. Shortly after than I cut all my hair off and I had a little pixie cut so if you watch Burning Angel you can kind of see me grow up. I change a lot, I cut my hair, sometimes it’s curly, and sometimes it’s straight.
Mens Mag Daily: You’ve been around for 10 years that’s a long time.
Kayla-Jane Danger: It is, I absolutely love it. Most people don’t last in this industry for six months let alone ten years. You have to go with things but at the same time you need to know your limits and know yourself; you have to listen to yourself. If you just let people run you over in this business and believe me there are plenty of personality types that are okay with that but I am not one of them. If you’re in control of what you do in this industry, you can last a long time and be very happy and very successful.
Mens Mag Daily: Were you always this tattooed badass type of girl?
Kayla-Jane Danger: (Laughs) I started getting tattoos when I was 15 so I guess that’s what everybody probably thought of me.
Mens Mag Daily: It has to be a good thing though because the whole tattoo thing has gotten more and more popular since you started.
Kayla-Jane Danger: It’s weird; it just got kind of mainstream. When I got into porn, alt-porn was a thing. Tattoo girls were separated. One of the first sites I helped start was a site that kind of showed tattooed girls in a different light. We showed them being glamourous. We made them bombshells instead of just being punk girls. I was a punk girl, I still am but at the same time you can be as glamourous and gorgeous as you want. Now you see major companies that would have never hired a girl with more than a tramp stamp hiring girls who have plenty of tattoos.
Mens Mag Daily: There are so many girls with tattoos like you, Bonnie Rotten, Romi Rain and I don’t know, I don’t see the tattoos. I just see the hotness.
Kayla-Jane Danger: Romi is awesome, I love her. I agree, and when I see other women I kind of don’t see it but at the same time I hate to say it because it’s a little hypocritical but I do take notice because I know my business. For my website, I don’t shoot tattooed girls unless I am in love with them.
Mens Mag Daily: Tell us about your website.
Kayla-Jane Danger: It’s www.mydollparts.com. It’s been around for like 6 years now. Oh my goodness, it’s so fucking hot, I love that site. I own a company called KJD Media and we own a bunch of sites but www.mydollparts.com is kind of my flagship site, it’s my favorite. It’s so hot and we’re actually starting to shoot some more hardcore stuff now. I’m the webmaster. Sometimes I’m the cameraman and photographer. I also produce movies. We did one last year for Filly Films called Carrie’s Secret which was incredible. The girls were just so hot, it was an amazing movie and I hope it gets nominated for awards.
Mens Mag Daily: I’m looking at your pictures and you wear very nice shoes, I hate when girls don’t wear nice shoes.
Kayla-Jane Danger: I’m kind of a stickler when it comes to shoes, clothing, and lingerie. That’s another awesome thing about www.mydollparts.com. It’s a feast for anyone who’s into shoes and lingerie. It has this awesome super femininity.
Mens Mag Daily: Okay, so what about in your personal life, do you prefer guys with or without tattoos?
Kayla-Jane Danger: It’s hard to say. It totally depends on the guy. There are so many guys that may look great with tattoos but they’re such total douchebags. You can just tell the tattoos are trying to cover up some other douchiness or some of their nerdiness because they got picked on in school. I’m kind of indifferent. I’m being a hypocrite again though because you’d have to look at pictures of me as a child to see me without tattoos. I hate when people say that I’m too pretty to have so many tattoos.
Mens Mag Daily: You look young for having been in the industry for 10 years. When did you start?
Kayla-Jane Danger: I started when I was 18.
Mens Mag Daily: You’re only 28?
Kayla-Jane Danger: Yeah.
Mens Mag Daily: That’s the way to do it.
Kayla-Jane Danger: Yeah and I think it also has to do with the fact that I’m not always out partying like a maniac, drinking and doing drugs. I rarely drink. I’m more into wine. I’m a pinot noir kind of girl. I love champagne, everybody loves champagne.
Mens Mag Daily: You don’t shoot hardcore and you only shoot with girls so all joking aside, give me the straight dope. After 10 years in the business, how much would somebody pay your for a hardcore boy/girl scene?
Kayla-Jane Danger: I have been offered money that is far too much to discuss publicly by a company that I used to work for on the production side of things. They wanted a sex scene with me and my real life boyfriend. I didn’t want to do it but he was really the smart one. I probably would have caved in and done it but he wasn’t having it.
