Layton Benton is freakin’ stunning. I tried to come up with a smoother way to say it but in the end it all boils down to that. From her gorgeous long hair, to her beautiful smile, amazing flawless skin, and out of this world body, the girl is seriously just freakin’ stunning and if you’ve seen any of her scenes she puts all of those qualities to excellent use as she is one hell of a performer. This Bay Area native is one of those girls who could make any man melt with the bat of an eyelash and the flash of a smile. She’s charming, sweet, and down-to-earth which makes it no surprise that she’s become as popular as she is after only one year in the adult industry. Mens Mag Daily was lucky enough to have a chance to chat with Ms. Benton about everything from her days as a retail specialist, what kind of guys she prefers to date, and her recent problems with a certain bank.
Mens Mag Daily: Alright, let’s start off easy here, how did you get into the adult industry?
Layton Benton: I actually wanted to do it since I got out of high school so it was definitely something that was on my mind. The story isn’t that exciting but I always watched porn and it always turned me on so that’s why I kind of decided to pursue it.
Mens Mag Daily: What’s your nationality by the way? You have a very exotic look.
Layton Benton: I’m Black, Puerto Rican, and Dominican.
Mens Mag Daily: Nice combo.
Layton Benton: Thank you. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Would you say you were a very sexual being before you got into the industry?
Layton Benton: Yes, you can definitely say that I was sexual. I was adventurous about sex and I like to try new things.
Mens Mag Daily: Were you into men and women or was it just men at the time?
Layton Benton: Actually, at that time it was men only. I hadn’t worked my way up to women yet. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Are you into girls?
Layton Benton: Yeah, of course but I always liked them. I just never acted on that feeling but I was always a pervert. I was just never with a girl until I got into the industry. My first experience with a girl was on camera. I was actually al little nervous but I got over that and it was really cool. It was also scary because I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing and putting on a good performance but at the same time everything that’s happening in that situation is new so you’re a little overwhelmed.
Mens Mag Daily: Where are you from originally?
Layton Benton: I am from the bay area but I live in L.A. now.
Mens Mag Daily: Another thing I’m interested in is this whole situation you’re in with the bank, what the hell is going on there?
Layton Benton: It’s actually not only me; it’s a few other performers as well now. Basically, they closed my account without notifying me.
Mens Mag Daily: So you just got a letter one day that said they were closing your account?
Layton Benton: Actually, what happened was I went to use my card and it wouldn’t work so I went to a branch to see what was up. I went to the teller first and they said I needed to talk to the banker. She told me they closed the account because it was too high risk and they didn’t want to take a chance with anything that could happen with the account.
Mens Mag Daily: A risk to what?
Layton Benton: I honestly don’t know, maybe somebody cashing bad checks or something like that. Porn stars get a lot of checks, maybe there was an incident. To be honest, I can’t even speculate because I don’t know.
Mens Mag Daily: Did you personally ever attempt to cash a bad check?
Layton Benton: No, never in my life.
Mens Mag Daily: I don’t understand what makes you high risk then.
Layton Benton: That’s what I’m saying. I’ve always been in good standing and everything so I’m trying to figure out what gave them the right to do it.
Mens Mag Daily: That seems crazy to me, I don’t know.
Layton Benton: Yeah, I’m getting a lawyer on it because it definitely seems like they didn’t have the right to do that. They’re a huge corporation.
Mens Mag Daily: That sounds like them taking advantage of their position and thinking they can just do whatever they want.
Layton Benton: I know which is why I want to get the story out there and get to the bottom of it.
Mens Mag Daily: That’s insane to me because gangster and drug dealers have bank accounts.
Layton Benton: Yeah, I know, it really makes no sense. I’m no gangster.
Mens Mag Daily: Were you able to get the money you had in there?
Layton Benton: Yes I was. They told me they were going to make me wait but then they gave it to me right away because I cried. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Were you shocked at this situation?
Layton Benton: I really was because you hear about things like that happening but you don’t think it’s going to happen to you. I didn’t know at first what a big deal it really was but after speaking to people and really thinking about it I started to really question it a lot. If I had done something wrong I could understand but I didn’t.
Mens Mag Daily: Okay, back to some regular questions. Have you ever had a regular job?
Layton Benton: Yeah I actually had a couple of regular retail jobs. First I worked at Wal-Mart and then I worked at Radio Shack.
Mens Mag Daily: Did a lot of guys hit on you?
Layton Benton: Oh yeah all the time for some reason.
Mens Mag Daily: Did you ever give your number to a Wal-Mart customer?
Layton Benton: I sure did. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Who has better looking customers, Wal-Mart or Radio Shack?
Layton Benton: Believe it or not, Wal-Mart.
Mens Mag Daily: So what happened, you just got sick of it?
Layton Benton: Yeah, pretty much. I mean the pay was pretty bad. I knew I could do something better than making minimum wage.
Mens Mag Daily: Did you live with your parents at the time?
Layton Benton: Yes I did.
Mens Mag Daily: What was their reaction when you told them you were going to do porn?
Layton Benton: They were not too thrilled at all. My mom went crazy. She’s starting to be supportive now. I try and help her out and stuff.
Mens Mag Daily: Is it harder to date now that you’re in the adult industry?
Layton Benton: Yeah, I think guys get scared away. Some of them get a really bad impression of you as a person which I don’t understand.
Mens Mag Daily: What would you say your type of guy is?
Layton Benton: I like athletic guys with money. (Laughs) But I like a guy who is nice and loyal too and who will give me massages.
Mens Mag Daily: You realize giving massages is the most annoying thing in the world right?
Layton Benton: But why?
Mens Mag Daily: I don’t know why women force us to do that.
Layton Benton: I don’t know. They’re just nice, I like them. I actually didn’t know that.
Mens Mag Daily: Every guy hates that.
Layton Benton: Okay, well now I know. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Does he have to be rich as well?
Layton Benton: I mean it would be nice to have a guy who can buy me presents. I like presents.
Mens Mag Daily: What if he’s rich and doesn’t give you stuff?
Layton Benton: Well, that’s just rude. How can you be rich and not give me goodies?
Mens Mag Daily: I wouldn’t but a girl anything but dinner for the first three months at least.
Layton Benton: Oh no, then we couldn’t date. (Laughs) You gotta buy me a present.
Mens Mag Daily: Maybe if you’re birthday fell within those three months.
Layton Benton: It has to be a special occasion?
Absolutely. Where do you want to be in 5 years in the adult business?
Layton Benton: Still in the business but I’d want my name to be bigger obviously. I want to be a household name. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Do you want to do mainstream stuff?
Layton Benton: Of course, definitely. I’d love to movies, TV, commercials.
Mens Mag Daily: Do you do feature dancing?
Layton Benton: Yeah, I love it. It’s a lot of fun.
Mens Mag Daily: Are the guys cool when they meet you?
Layton Benton: Most of them are really nice and cool. They show me a lot of love.
