Sandee Westgate is often viewed as the Playboy girl gone bad. Modeling and dancing since she was 18 years old, this stunner is a veteran and it’s not hard to see why she’s been around for as long as she has. She has a stunning exotic face, a killer body, and exudes this classy sexuality. While she did model for Playboy, some of the stories are exaggerated like her actually living in the Playboy mansion or being Hef’s girlfriend. Naturally sexual, Sandee ran the adult industry gamut going from dancer, to nude model, to girl/girl performer, to boy/girl performer (though she only performs with her husband). Mens Mag Daily was able to catch up with Sandee Westgate to discuss her days at Playboy, why she decided to get into hardcore, and everything in between.
Mens Mag Daily: Okay Sandee, let’s start off with a little background information. Can you tell us what your life was like before you got into any type of nude modeling?
Sandee Westgate: Well I got started in nude modeling pretty early on. I was 19 years old. Prior to that I was a dancer at a local gentlemen’s club in Sacramento, which is where I am originally from.
Mens Mag Daily: What was it that attracted you to modeling and how did you get into it?
Sandee Westgate: I’ve always been open and uninhibited with my body and sexuality so it was a perfect fit for me. When I was approached to do a website back in 1998, I said yes and that’s what got the ball rolling. From there, it was the numerous shoots for Playboy that made me dive deeper into the “nude” portion. I figured that if I was nude in a worldwide magazine then I may as well start a website and make some money off of it.
Mens Mag Daily: I’m sure you’ve been asked this question a million times but you lived in the Playboy Mansion and were one of Hef’s seven girlfriends. Can you tell us what that experience was like?
Sandee Westgate: I actually never “lived” there. I was asked to but I was engaged at the time to now Playboy photographer Josh Ryan. I did frequent the mansion and hang out with his entourage but I wasn’t really one of “his girls”. That’s a misconception I hear a lot. But hanging out with him and seeing that lifestyle was really cool for a 23 year old girl from a small town. I could write a book from my experiences that would keep someone entertained for hours. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: You were featured in Playboy on a bunch of occasions before you decided to do more hardcore publications. What led to that decision?
Sandee Westgate: Like I mentioned earlier, I felt I could expand my web presence with a website and earn a good income from it at the same time. I was able to be creative with my web design and photo shoots while letting my inner sex goddess thrive. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: Was it an entirely different experience when you shot for more hardcore publications like Hustler?
Sandee Westgate: I would say yes and no. Being uninhibited sort of makes all of that the same. It’s just being nude. Showing more of myself felt natural. Where it got a little different was on DVD sets where there were a ton of extra people watching and standing around. I did have a little adjustment period with that type of shooting but stills were so much more minimal as far as production value goes.
Mens Mag Daily: You started doing a lot of girl/girl photo shoots. Were you into women at that point and had you been with women in your personal life?
Sandee Westgate: Yes. I had been with more women than men at that point and probably still. (Laughs) I’ve always loved women so getting to do photos and videos with them just allowed me to enjoy my “work” even more.
Mens Mag Daily: You eventually made the progression to hardcore porn. What led you to that decision?
Sandee Westgate: Honestly, it was just time. The evolution of my adult career had reached a point where I believe people were sort of bored with seeing me with girls. Everyone had wondered what it was like to see Sandee Westgate get fucked so I slowly graduated into that genre and gave everyone what they wanted. Not to mention, I get to work with solely my husband which makes it extremely fun and easy.
Mens Mag Daily: Was being filmed having actual sex very different from posing for photos? Were you nervous at all?
Sandee Westgate: Yes, there is a certain level of privacy and passion my husband and I hadn’t shared with anyone. Filming in front of crews of people for video was a lot different. He’s a total exhibitionist so for him it’s nothing. For me, I was a little shy a first but after I learned to let go it was easy and fun.
Mens Mag Daily: In your opinion, is there a big difference between the Playboy audience and the hardcore porn audience and do you feel that people viewed you differently when you were just doing playboy?
Sandee Westgate: There is a huge difference. From my experience, the Playboy guys are older and definitely more reserved in what they want to see. The hardcore porn guys are greedy in what they want to see and very specific in wanting whatever their fetish is. Playboy people are much easier to deal with and much more respectful.
Mens Mag Daily: Your website has always been a big part of your career, it’s been around for a long time and you were ahead of the curve on that. Did you know early on that the internet would be such a huge source for adult stuff or did you just figure you’d give it a chance?
Sandee Westgate: Oh I had no idea. I knew there were some people who were really successful at it but I never dreamt that mine would reach the level that it has, especially back in 2005-2006 before tube sites and before there was so much free porn. It was insane how much money was being made.
Mens Mag Daily: You’re obviously insanely beautiful. At any point did you consider going the mainstream route in terms of modeling and maybe acting?
Sandee Westgate: Thank you! Yes, I did go on a lot of auditions for acting years ago and hated it. It’s just not my thing. I have done a lot of mainstream stuff as well over the years but typically when someone finds out that you do porn as well they aren’t interested in having that stigma attached to their models. It’s so closed minded in my opinion.
Mens Mag Daily: I know you have tons of fans and you do conventions and things like that. What are your fans like and how is it when you actually come face to face with them?
Sandee Westgate: In all honesty some are wonderful and some are total creeps. I think just like anything in life, there’s good and bad. (Laughs)
Mens Mag Daily: I think what all of my readers want to know is what type of guys and girls Sandee Westgate is attracted to in real life?
Sandee Westgate: Someone with a good heart and soul. They must be an animal lover. I can’t stand hunting or animal neglect or abuse in anyway so I do like tolerant people. A short temper is also a big no no with me.
Mens Mag Daily: This is a horrible question but my readers demand that I ask it. What is your favorite sexual position and why?
Sandee Westgate: (Laughs) It’s not that bad. It’s probably the most asked question I have received over the years. With my husband I like to be on top or plain missionary. That’s because I like intimacy with him. It’s what really turns me on. Anyone can fuck me but my husband I want the connection with him that goes beyond just sex. It’s rare and boy does it turn me on. It’s not so much about the position it’s about the connection.
Mens Mag Daily: Would you say your personal sex life is very different from your on screen sex life?
Sandee Westgate: Nope, it’s with the same guy. However, our personal sex is much more fluid than having to stop and change positions or open up to the camera or whatever it is that takes the personal experience out of it.
