With roughly 70,000 litres of helium required to lift a person, the idea of a helium blimp was too good to just pass up. But with safety regulations and huge costs, that idea couldn’t be executed for everyone. However, the Aeroplumé in France made it possible for people to pilot a single-person helium blimp for just €60, so Tom Scott had to try it out!
